Honor thou father!!!
How can I do that
When mama never loved him
That’s why I hug these streets,
like ol” Buick rims
And climb the mountains of life with these worn out Tim’s

I got friends, but mo” enemies
No affiliations, being born in the ghetto
Made me a “G!!

I know church girls,
who turned professional pipe servers from they knees
Mama uh hoe!!
daughter followed the steps she seen
Guess its in some peoples Jeans, no Levis’s

Dem penitentiary’s, full of big fish that got fried!!
Some got tired of food stamps
Some made dumb decisions
Some got sent out on missions
All some could do was rob, cuz they weren’t good at addition
Some just meant “fa graveyard listings

Grandma still praying, young buck still wondering, is the man up stairs really listening?

Why some much pain!!
Mama’s boyfriend came home tripping again!!

Life shouldn’t be such a a strain!!
Where I’m from,
Most close their eyes, take a deep breath and WAIT FOR GOD TO CALL
THEIR NAME !!!
